At the Law Offices of Jason A. Steinberger, we strive to give people of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island boroughs as well as Nassau and Suffolk counties the best legal representation in the state and federal court system. As a criminal defense attorney, Steinberger has experience defending minors, adults, businesses and organizations against misdemeanor and felony charges in all New York City Court locations, County Court of Nassau County, County Court of Suffolk County and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of New York.
You can count on to Steinberger listen when law enforcement does not seem to care and protect his clients against the New York criminal court system’s intrinsic injustices. He values each client equally, and he believes that every client should get the justice they deserve. In order to serve as many people as possible in metropolitan New York, Steinberger has Drunk Driving Defense/Criminal Defense law offices in the Bronx, close to Yankee Stadium, and Manhattan, convenient to Pennsylvania Station.
After his admission to the New York State Bar, Steinberger served New York City by prosecuting misdemeanor and felony crimes as Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County Trial Bureau. His sterling reputation for trial advocacy and criminal law allowed Steinberger the opportunity to represent the state of New York as a liaison for the Bronx County Family Court. In December 2005, the Office of the Bronx District Attorney honored Steinberger for his diligent performance in criminal law.
During his tenure at the Office of the Bronx District Attorney, Steinberger volunteered his time to the youth of New York City by instructing participants in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition and the mock criminal trial competition sponsored by the Office of the Bronx District Attorney. Steinberger is currently a member of Hofstra Law School Adjunct Faculty as a Special Professor of Law, teaching applied evidence and trial advocacy.
